Emergency Services Officer | Southern Goldfields And Murchison | 8/6 Fifo

About the Role

Westgold Resources is hiring a permanent full time Emergency Services Officer to support its gold operations across the Southern Goldfields and Murchison regions of Western Australia. The role is on an 8/6 FIFO roster. You will be the first responder for emergencies on site and help keep the workforce prepared, trained and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency, rescue and medical incidents


• Provide pre-hospital emergency care to injured or unwell workers


• Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment and facilities


• Plan and run emergency training and drills


• Support emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance


• Carry out drug and alcohol testing

About You

• Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue


• Relevant emergency medical qualifications


• A current C class driver's licence


• A current first aid certificate


• Drug and alcohol testing competency and mining experience are highly regarded
