Supervisor Facilities Maintenance | Olympic Dam | 7/7 Fifo/dido

About the Role

BHP is hiring a Supervisor Facilities Maintenance at Olympic Dam, its underground copper, uranium, gold and silver operation about 560 km north of Adelaide in South Australia. The role works a 7/7 roster with on-call duties and can be done FIFO from Adelaide, DIDO, or living in Roxby Downs. You will report to the Superintendent Facilities Management and keep maintenance across the site's buildings and facilities running safely and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily facilities maintenance work across the Olympic Dam portfolio


• Track contractor performance and make sure jobs are prioritised and done to standard


• Coordinate facilities and property projects


• Lead field safety activities, risk assessments and investigations, and close out actions on time


• Handle purchase orders, accruals, budget tracking and reporting


• Monitor service KPIs and raise non-conformances with contract partners


• Work with logistics, transport, village, contracts, projects and shutdown teams


• Coach team members and support contractors to meet site HSE requirements

About You

• Experience in facilities, property or industrial maintenance, contractor management or supervision


• Clear safety leadership and the ability to influence HSEC behaviour


• Good analytical and problem solving skills


• Confident working with contractors, customers and internal teams


• Skills in Microsoft Office and SAP or a similar maintenance system


• A valid manual driver's licence


• A trade, engineering, building or project management qualification is highly regarded
