About the Role

Komatsu Australia is hiring tradespeople to train as AHS Site Specialists, maintaining and improving its Autonomous Haulage System trucks and site systems on Pilbara mine sites. The role is FIFO to the Pilbara from Perth on an 8:6:7:7 roster across days and nights. Applicants must live in Western Australia or be relocating there. Komatsu provides the training to become a competent AHS Site Specialist, with backup from engineers in its 24/7 support centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain autonomous trucks and the systems that run them


• Diagnose and repair faults on heavy mobile equipment


• Support customers on site to a high service standard


• Learn automation skills through Komatsu's training program


• Work safely and follow HSE requirements at all times

About You

• A trade qualification such as HD Fitter or Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technology or HV Electrician, or Cert IV in Aeroskills Engineering


• Experience servicing heavy mobile equipment


• Experience in a similar work environment


• Good relationship skills with customers and internal teams


• A strong commitment to safety
