About the Role

Evolution Mining needs an Auto Electrician in the Mobile Maintenance team at Ernest Henry Operations near Cloncurry, Queensland. You will keep a mixed fleet of underground and surface mining equipment reliable. The roster is 8/6 and 7/7, FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, or residential in Cloncurry with live-local incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on heavy mining equipment


• Find and fix electrical, electronic and control system faults


• Inspect machines and suggest ways to improve reliability


• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately


• Support condition monitoring and continuous improvement work

About You

• A trade qualification as an Auto Electrician


• Experience on heavy mobile equipment in mining, construction, civil or heavy industry


• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills


• Experience with electrical, electronic and control systems


• Able to work on your own and as part of a team
