Underground Truck Driver | Granny Smith Near Laverton | 8/6 And 7/7 Fifo

About the Role

Gold Fields is hiring experienced Underground Truck Drivers at its Granny Smith gold mine near Laverton in Western Australia. This permanent role is FIFO from Perth on a rotating roster of 8/6 on days and 7/7 on nights. You will report to the Supervisor Underground Production and haul ore and waste to keep production on target. Applications close on 16 November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently


• Move ore and waste while meeting production targets and cycle times


• Complete pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks


• Work closely with underground crews and keep high safety and housekeeping standards


• Attend all rostered shifts fit for work and on time

About You

• Underground truck driving experience in mining


• A sound understanding of mobile equipment and its care


• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and problem solving


• Willingness to learn new roles within the underground crews


• A valid WA C class manual driver's licence


• A Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights, or willingness to obtain them
