About the Role
Agnico Eagle is hiring a Supervisor, Mobile Maintenance for its Meliadine gold mine near Rankin Inlet in Nunavut. The role is full time and salaried, on a fly-in fly-out schedule of 14 days at work followed by 14 days for travel and rest. You will report to the General Supervisor Mobile Maintenance and lead the mechanics who keep the mine's surface and underground mobile fleet running. The posting closes on 6 November 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach a multidisciplinary team of mechanics
- Review work requests and organise the weekly maintenance schedule by urgency
- Make sure preventive and corrective maintenance is done properly and on time
- Check that the right procedures are followed and explain them clearly to the team
- Review KPIs, decide on corrective actions and help prepare the department budget
- Hand over information properly to the opposite shift
About You
- A maintenance technician or technologist qualification, trade certificate, or a college maintenance program
- Five years of maintenance experience in mining or a related field
- Knowledge of surface and underground mobile equipment
- Maintenance planning with a CMMS; JDE experience is an asset
- Experience leading a multi-trade team and good Microsoft Office skills
- Underground experience and subcontractor management are assets
