Underground Grader Operator | Ernest Henry Near Cloncurry | 8/6 And 7/7 Fifo

About the Role

Evolution Mining is looking for a Grader Operator to join the underground Production team at Ernest Henry Operations near Cloncurry in north west Queensland. The role is offered as residential or FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, on an 8/6 and 7/7 roster. You will keep declines, haul roads and working areas in good condition and help out across other production tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Run graders to maintain underground roads, declines, drainage and work areas


• Carry out dust suppression and other roadway maintenance


• Complete pre-start inspections and basic equipment care


• Report equipment defects, hazards and operational risks


• Help with clean-up, loading and hauling work


• Provide relief cover in other operational roles where trained

About You

• RII competency in grader operations


• Experience on Caterpillar 140M graders or similar


• Experience maintaining haul roads, levelling road bases and managing drainage


• Underground grading experience, ideally in decline operations


• A current manual driver's licence


• Good communication and hazard awareness
