Site Reliability Engineer, Cells Infrastructure

The Site Reliability Engineer will build and operate GitLab’s Cells infrastructure, enabling GitLab.com to scale through independently managed application and data units. Responsibilities include provisioning cloud infrastructure, managing Kubernetes, networking, databases, routing, and infrastructure as code across AWS and GCP. The role owns production reliability through on-call support, SLOs, monitoring, incident response, progressive delivery, and automation. The engineer will also support customer migrations, improve deployment pipelines, and collaborate with product teams to make services compatible with the Cells architecture.
