Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response

The Senior Security Engineer will strengthen Sezzle’s security operations across cloud infrastructure and applications through detection engineering, incident response, and vulnerability management. Responsibilities include operating SIEM and XDR capabilities, improving audit and attribution coverage, tuning alerts, conducting threat hunts, and leading investigations through root-cause remediation. The role also partners with engineering teams on AWS and Kubernetes security, compliance controls, threat modeling, and validation of external security findings. AI-assisted automation will be used to streamline alert triage, investigations, vulnerability workflows, and ongoing threat response.
