Insurtech Sales Advocate

Job Description:

• Take great care of customers and identify coverage gaps, eligible discounts, and potential renewal increases
• Answer inbound calls from customers shopping for auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies
• Assist policyholders with policy changes
• Learn and match customers with appropriate insurance products from a large panel of insurance companies
• Maintain deep knowledge of Jerry's evolving app
• Solve problems and remove barriers between customers and appropriate coverage
• Process service requests involving vehicles, drivers, lienholders, and policy documents
• Provide customer feedback to improve the product

Requirements:

• Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus, but not required
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Willingness to work as a team
• Strong work ethic
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Full-time employees must currently reside in eligible locations: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for salaried roles; AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA for hourly roles
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• A valid P&C license is asked about in the application; the employer will pay for the license if the candidate does not have one
