Business Development Manager – Federal

The Business Development Manager will expand Akicita Federal’s presence across federal agencies and service lines beyond its core healthcare market. Responsibilities include identifying qualified opportunities, leveraging agency and contractor relationships, leading capture efforts, and supporting high-volume proposal development. The role will also build teaming partnerships with small businesses, including firms approaching contract or eligibility transitions. Success requires federal business development experience, knowledge of 8(a) and small business set-asides, strong pipeline management, and the ability to use AI tools effectively.
