Associate Solution Engineer

Job Description:

• Present Snowflake's technology, vision, and roadmap to technical contributors and business executives
• Connect technical solutions to business outcomes
• Work with prospects and customers across the sales cycle
• Deliver tailored demos, proofs of concept, solution design, and implementation support
• Demonstrate Snowflake's business value at every stage
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and develop technical champions
• Maintain current knowledge of Snowflake's platform, industry trends, and competing or complementary technologies
• Use hands-on labs, demos, and Snowflake learning resources to develop technical skills
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering
• Share field feedback to improve Snowflake products and messaging
• Work with technology and implementation partners on joint architectures, account strategies, and customer-success initiatives
• Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events
• Learn through mentorship, on-the-job learning, and shared wins and losses
• Support the Commercial team

Requirements:

• Some experience in a technical role, such as solution engineering, solutions architecture, or software development
• Technical experience preferably in SaaS, data analytics, or cloud technology
• Passion for solving problems and eagerness to grow technical and business skills
• Basic familiarity with SQL and/or Python, or strong willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both written and verbal
• Desire to understand customer challenges and deliver meaningful solutions
• Collaborative approach to working with peers, partners, and customers
• Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery, CI/CD tooling, Spark, containers, DevOps tools, orchestration tools, or Git
• Preferred: understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and their services
• Preferred: familiarity with data science, machine learning workflows, or governance tools
