Remote Telehealth Nurse

Max pay - $35/hr

6 month contract - possible on-going assignment

Looking for a remote nurse who helps Medicare patients complete their annual wellness checkups over Zoom and makes sure all of their medical information is organized and documented correctly before the provider sees them.

A nurse who:

• Likes talking with patients.
• Is comfortable on Zoom and computers all day.
• Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Enjoys chart review, documentation, and care coordination.
• Can work independently from home.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced, organized Nurses to support virtual AWVs through patient chart preparation, clinical history reviews, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience managing high-volume patient interactions in a fast-paced virtual care environment.

Can sit anywhere in the US, but must be able to work the below EST hours

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM EST
• One Saturday per month, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM EST
• Rotating holiday coverage

Responsibilities:

AWV Preparation and Patient Support

• Prepare comprehensive Annual Wellness Visit charts to support provider efficiency and CMS compliance.
• Conduct on-camera virtual patient interactions via Zoom to review and document medical, surgical, and family histories; medications and adherence; preventive screenings and immunizations; and cognitive, functional, and depression assessments.
• Identify overdue screenings, risk factors, and care gaps before provider visits.
• Obtain missing or clarified patient information and communicate concise summaries and key findings to providers.
• Ensure AWV documentation meets Medicare, CMS, and organizational requirements.

Documentation, Quality and Compliance

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records.
• Navigate electronic health record and telehealth platforms, including CT360, RXNT, and Zoom.
• Support clinical quality, patient engagement, and satisfaction goals.
• Follow HIPAA, CMS, and organizational policies and participate in ongoing training.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted multi-state/compact RN License.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume patient care in a fast-paced virtual or telehealth clinic.
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience in bedside care, primary care, med-surg, or home health.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth/teleconferencing platforms.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Dedicated, secure, private home workspace suitable for confidential, on-camera patient interactions and reliable internet access.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.
• Familiarity with CMS documentation requirements and preventive care guidelines.
• Experience supporting multiple virtual care programs and platforms.

Technical Requirements:

Computer:

• Windows or Apple (macOS) Computer ONLY (NO Chromebooks, Linux Machines, or Smartphones)
• Must have at least Windows 10 or macOS 14 Sonoma.

Hardware:

• Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Equivalent (Windows); Apple Silicon (Macs)
• RAM: 16 GB

Headphones: Wired headphones required for optimal audio quality. (NO built-in mics)

Internet Speed: Meet minimum internet speed requirements (100 MBPS download speed and 50 MBPS upload speed). Must have an ethernet cable connecting computer directly into router.

Browser and System: Use Google Chrome with Amazon Workspaces (regardless of computer type).

Webcam: A webcam is required for video calls. Most laptops have a built-in webcam, which is acceptable. If your computer does not have a webcam, you will need to use an external webcam.

Recommended Equipment: A second monitor is highly suggested for laptop users; dual monitors for PC users.
