Private Caregiver Job

Hallmark Homecare of Marietta, a home care referral agency, is looking for a patient, dependable independent caregiver to support an 81-year-old man who is recovering from a stroke and returning home to his family’s care.

Schedule: Three mornings a week, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (days to be confirmed)
Location: East Cobb, Marietta, GA

Duties:

• Morning bathing, dressing, and changing


• Hoyer lift transfers from bed to wheelchair or recliner as needed (Family always available to help)


• Feeding assistance (minced and moist diet)


• Light companionship

Requirements:

• Experience with stroke recovery and Hoyer lift transfers


• Non-smoker


• Reliable, patient, and warm with clients and families
