Virtual Camp Counselor

Job Description:

• Facilitate virtual activities for campers ages 3–12
• Create and lead at least 3 activities per session, including music, art, games, and movement
• Make connections with campers and monitor their safety and wellness
• Attend virtual staff meetings and collaborate and communicate with the virtual camp team
• Actively supervise campers and monitor how they are feeling throughout each session
• Adapt sessions for children of all abilities
• Create an engaging and safe space for campers
• Maintain an appropriate remote workspace
• Ensure compliance with camp policies
• Report and record notable concerns, incidents, and injuries

Requirements:

• At least 16 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children in a professional, personal, or volunteer setting; 1 year preferred
• Stable internet connection
• A device with a webcam for leading Zoom meetings
• Legally authorized to work in the US
