Gather information about project requirements and establish priorities with UX research, UX design, product management, and business teams
Plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative user research studies
Support product designers in conducting research and following best practices
Analyze research data to provide actionable insights and identify connections across projects
Map user journeys and systems, and create UX personas or archetypes
Present research findings to senior leadership, product teams, UX teams, and stakeholders
Provide research timing and level-of-effort estimates with partners and agile teams
Document and communicate findings in the research repository
Participate in business and UI reviews with multidisciplinary product teams
Coordinate research sessions, participant recruitment, and session scheduling
Prioritize research opportunities using a “just enough research” mindset
Conduct heuristic evaluations of websites and digital services, including competitors
Advocate for inclusive design and accessible digital services

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Information Sciences, or related field
3+ years of experience in related field
In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field
Experience with a wide variety of research methodologies
Proficient with testing tools like UserZoom / UserTesting / Maze experience is a plus
Ability to work in fast-paced agile / SCRUM environment
Ability to analyze findings and data to deliver actionable insights
Experience in researching Enterprise or IT systems a plus
Experience in health insurance, healthcare, insurance or financial services a plus
Experience with design systems and frameworks
