Underground Nipper | Agnew Near Leinster | 8/6 And 7/7 Fifo

About the Role

Gold Fields is looking for a Nipper at its Agnew underground gold mine near Leinster in Western Australia. This is a permanent FIFO role from Perth on a rotating roster of 8 days on and 6 off, then 7 nights on and 7 off. Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will support production and development crews, and the role is a recognised pathway into underground operator positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment and materials to underground crews and remove waste


• Assist jumbo operators with ground support work such as bolting, meshing and heading setup


• Help with service crew tasks as needed


• Complete pre-start checks, report hazards and keep work areas tidy


• Arrive fit for work on every rostered shift

About You

• Previous underground experience as a nipper or truck driver


• Physically fit and comfortable in demanding conditions


• Strong safety focus and good communication


• Current manual driver licence


• Able to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance
