Travel Consultant

Job Description:

• Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
• Understand client travel policies and provide consistent consultation
• Fulfill requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other regulations
• Provide industry information including low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Review operational processes and commercial relationships and suggest improvements
• Maintain, communicate, and expand knowledge of supported travel industries
• Communicate and respond to current and prospective client requests

Requirements:

• Travel agent experience
• Relevant skills in GDS Sabre
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Flexibility in scheduling is a core requirement
• Ability to work in the United States
