Temporary Research Analyst

Job Description:

• Assist the Executive Director with research, analysis, and writing on policy issues related to the information ecosystem
• Perform research and policy analysis
• Lead work resulting in think tank and other white papers
• Research topics including synthetic content policy, how LLMs are changing the information ecosystem, pro-democracy messaging, scientific funding for social sciences, and related policy issues

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in a relevant field of study required
• Strong ability to read and understand quantitative social science or computational research
• Excellent written communication skills required
• Experience with research synthesis, literature reviews, or policy briefs required
• Demonstrated interest in democracy, media, information integrity, technology policy, or related areas preferred
