Technology Editor

Job Description:

• Research, write, edit, and publish high-quality technology stories
• Identify emerging trends, companies, founders, products, and technologies worth covering
• Conduct interviews with founders, investors, engineers, executives, and technology leaders
• Develop original story ideas and editorial angles
• Cover AI, startups, venture capital, software, fintech, deep tech, and emerging technologies
• Edit articles, interviews, opinion pieces, newsletters, and long-form features
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging content
• Monitor breaking developments across the technology ecosystem
• Build relationships with founders, investors, researchers, operators, and industry experts
• Work with social, video, design, and growth teams to distribute editorial content
• Help develop new editorial formats, newsletters, interviews, podcasts, and digital series

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in technology journalism, editorial, media, content, startups, or a related field
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong understanding of technology and the startup ecosystem
• Excellent research and interviewing abilities
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to find original angles and turn them into compelling stories
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to work across breaking news, analysis, interviews, and long-form stories
• Experience covering AI, startups, venture capital, or emerging technology is a strong plus
• Experience with newsletters, social media, podcasts, or video is a plus
