Your Core Focus
You’ll own the full finance function, building scalable systems, managing cash flow, driving profitability, and leading financial strategy to support Hadley Designs’ next era of growth.
What You’ll DoDeliver accurate, audit-ready financials by the 20th of each month with full account reconciliation and zero material errorsBuild and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly, ensuring perfect liquidity and visibilityLead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments with ≤10% variance between forecast and actual resultsDevelop automated systems and workflows that reduce manual reporting time by at least 25% within your first yearPartner with leadership to implement initiatives that increase profitability and improve EBITDA by 2 percentage points in your first 12 monthsCreate and document SOPs for close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processesImplement new systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing by Month 6Produce insightful financial dashboards and KPIs that drive better decision-makingPartner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to align growth, cash flow, and inventory planningEvaluate technology solutions (ERP, reporting tools) that prepare the company for scale

Who You Are
You’re a strategic, detail-oriented leader who thrives on clarity, accuracy, and impact. You know how to scale systems, guide teams through growth, and communicate financial insight in plain English. You’re not just reporting numbers, you’re building the foundation for smart, sustainable expansion.

Requirements
You bring:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including 3+ years in leadershipProven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingExperience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizationsStrong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standardsProficiency with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google SheetsExcellent analytical and communication skills; you turn complexity into clarityExperience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail (preferred)Collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence executive-level decisions
