Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend software solutions in a production support environment
• Develop features and enhance existing applications securely, scalably, with high performance and thorough testing
• Analyze complex data and software to provide actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in an agile environment
• Provide engineering estimates
• Troubleshoot and debug new product areas and services
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Resolve software defects and production issues promptly
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for high-performing web applications
• Participate in code reviews
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and scalability requirements
• Use Agile development tools to track and communicate project progress
• Stay current with information technologies and emerging trends
• Attend meetings and provide support via text, phone, and email in a 24/7/365 environment
• Participate in professional development and training
• Foster positive relationships with employees, clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of related experience developing high quality production quality code
• Proficient in C#
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, MVC and/or Blazor
• Experience developing and debugging web applications
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud services
• Experience creating database objects, writing queries in T-SQL, and writing stored procedures
• Experience with ORMs, preferably Entity Framework
• Experience with Monitoring and Telemetry tools/data
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment Tools, preferably Azure DevOps
• Experience with source control such as Git or TFS
• Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including strong business writing abilities
• Ability to estimate work and deliver projects on schedule
• Ability to learn ADTRAV’s business and products quickly and adapt to a dynamic development environment
• Experience with travel industry tools such as Sabre or Concur is a plus
• Unit Testing or Test-Driven Development experience is a plus
• Experience in a SaaS or Microservice environment is a plus
• Ability to work remotely and meet company home-office and productivity requirements
• Ability to work outside normal business hours and provide 24/7/365 support
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Able to successfully pass credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background checks
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Able to successfully pass a government clearance process as required by clients
