Senior Tech Lead Mobile App Developer – React Native

Job Description:

• Pick up Injective Labs' new trading app quickly and keep it moving
• Own the React Native app's architecture, scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability across iOS and Android
• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and full-stack engineers
• Turn complex trading features into fast, easy-to-use mobile experiences
• Handle API design, integrations, and real-time data flows including gRPC, SSE, and WebSockets
• Build complex, high-impact features in React Native and TypeScript, many from scratch
• Set and maintain engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
• Lead mobile features from technical design and implementation through testing, App Store and Google Play releases, monitoring, and iteration
• Find and fix complex production issues and improve app performance
• Guide other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 7–10 years of experience as a mobile developer
• Experience building and shipping production mobile applications on iOS and Android
• Current experience in crypto, blockchain, Web3, or DeFi (or recent exit after long crypto tenure)
• Professional experience in React Native, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience developing crypto, blockchain, Web3, or DeFi production mobile applications
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Experience building fintech or trading applications is nice to have
• Experience owning mobile application architecture and technical decisions for production mobile applications is nice to have
