Senior Solutions Engineer

Job Description:

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers and prospects through evaluation, adoption, and expansion of the cybersecurity platform
• Understand customer goals, challenges, and security requirements and align platform capabilities with meaningful outcomes
• Lead demos, presentations, and technical storytelling for technical and executive audiences
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic partners to accelerate revenue and broaden market reach
• Represent the company at industry events, panels, webinars, and field engagements
• Develop enablement content, demos, videos, architectural diagrams, and training assets for internal teams and partners
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success
• Provide product feedback and innovation insights to Product Management
• Lead and support Proof of Concepts demonstrating measurable technical and business value
• Maintain knowledge of platform capabilities, beta features, upcoming enhancements, and cybersecurity best practices
• Travel within the U.S. for customer engagements, industry events, partner meetings, and strategic field initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, AI, cloud, networking, systems engineering, or related technical fields
• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales roles
• Proven experience working with technical decision-makers and executives in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Broad technical acumen across cybersecurity, cloud architecture, networking, AI, risk visibility, and IT modernization
• Experience designing/architecting solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments
• Ability to rapidly learn modern technologies and thrive in a fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives
• Proven experience and passion for public speaking, live demos, and customer education
• Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity startup environments
• Familiarity with XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CNAPP, or modern detection/security posture technologies
• Hands-on experience with API integrations, scripting, automation, or lightweight coding (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience delivering executive briefings, architecture workshops, or security maturity assessments
• Background in SOC operations, threat hunting, or incident response
• Experience working with or enabling MSSPs, GSIs, or Channel Partners
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA)
• Strong technical storytelling ability translating complex concepts into clear value for customers
• Enthusiasm for mentoring, teaching, and knowledge sharing across internal teams
• AI technology experience, such as applying AI/ML to cybersecurity workflows, leveraging LLMs or agentic AI for automation, or working with AI-driven detection and analytics systems
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CEH, CCSP, Security+, CySA+, CISM, CISA, or other ISACA certifications
• Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect
• Preferred certifications: Kubernetes, DevOps, or Cloud Security specialization certifications
