Senior Solutions Architect

Job Description:

• Take projects from Sales to Service, including deployment of Computer Aided Dispatch Systems, Mobile Applications, and Records Management Systems
• Own project scope and interfaces to be deployed
• Coordinate and implement customer installation activities in a time-sensitive manner
• Elicit customer requirements and communicate technical details to all organizational levels
• Understand public safety customer environments for product security and reliability
• Deliver solutions using defined products, standard interfaces, and limited flexibility
• Install, integrate, deploy, and deliver defined solutions
• Debug software and IP networks
• Identify product defects and monitor resolution from engineering through customer acceptance
• Track billable hours for projects worked and completed
• Document projects with standard deliverables to communicate task status and completion
• Collaborate with project teams, project managers, customers, interface development teams, and engineering
• Train new team members as required
• Travel to customers as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, General Studies, Information Systems, or Technology, plus working experience in Systems Integration, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Development, Public Safety, Systems Test, or Systems Support
• 4+ years of experience working as an Engineer in an Engineering or Technology environment
• Experience in Systems Integration, Software Engineering, Product Development, System Test, System Support, or Information Technology
• Windows Server 2019 or newer
• SQL Server 2019 or newer
• SQL scripting (T-SQL)
• Proficiency with XML, XPATH, and XSLT
• General networking knowledge
• General software and IP network debugging skills
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
• Employer work permit sponsorship is not available
• Must successfully pass a stringent fingerprint background check under the U.S. Department of Justice CJIS Security Policy
• Must be willing to travel as required
• Must be willing to learn on the job and be a team player
• Public Safety experience is preferred
• Knowledge of packet capture tools is preferred
• Great verbal and written communication is preferred
• Ability to present and train others on technical processes
