The Crown Is Yours

As a Senior Security Engineer, youโ€™ll strengthen the security of the IT systems our workforce relies on every day. Youโ€™ll build and improve security tooling, automate workflows, and investigate threats to keep our environments secure, responsive, and resilient. Working with security analysts, engineers, and technical system owners, youโ€™ll turn findings into stronger protections and shape the security improvements we prioritize next.

What youโ€™ll do

  • Build tooling and processes that protect our workforceโ€™s IT systems, with a focus on endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), and email security.
  • Maintain and improve security tools, using automation, quality assurance processes, and feedback loops to improve effectiveness and reduce manual work.
  • Partner with security analysts, security engineers, and technical system owners to understand differences between expected and actual system behavior.
  • Shape the Enterprise Security roadmap in partnership with your manager and peers, balancing business needs with operational improvements to establish what we prioritize next and why.
  • Conduct targeted threat hunting to identify security threats, deepen our understanding of the environment, and develop detections and automation based on your findings.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment where we share knowledge and learn from one another.

What youโ€™ll bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, developing technology and processes that improve the coverage and effectiveness of security tooling across corporate IT and complex platform environments.

  • Experience with some combination of mobile device management (MDM), EDR, DLP, and cloud security tooling.

  • Broad knowledge of operating systems, file systems, networking, common protocols, public cloud security, and automation, including how to secure the systems and environments you support.

  • The ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Experience managing complex changes in larger organizations, including developing and executing communication and implementation plans.

  • Flexibility to participate in periodic off-hours escalation rotations with our team.
