Senior Sales Development Representative

Job Description:

• Drive proactive outbound prospecting through cold calling and personalized multi-touch outreach
• Research, segment, prioritize, and develop target accounts and territories
• Engage HSE, Procurement, and Operations stakeholders, qualify interest, and book discovery calls
• Identify ideal customer profiles and personas and tailor messaging using relevant signals
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and ensure consistent follow-up
• Deliver well-qualified, well-documented discovery calls to the Sales team
• Use AI tools to enhance prospecting and outreach
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on campaigns, events, account follow-up, and pipeline-building activities
• Improve team messaging, outreach cadences, call approaches, and processes
• Report to the Senior Manager of Sales Development
• Help build pipeline for Veriforce, whose SaaS platform supports contractor and supply chain risk management, safety, and compliance in high-risk industries

Requirements:

• Proven quota-carrying SDR, BDR, or closely related sales experience, with clear evidence of personal attainment and results
• B2B SaaS sales experience
• Demonstrated outbound experience, including cold calling, territory prioritization, multi-touch outreach, and qualification
• Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or equivalent sales engagement and prospecting tools
• Experience with AI-assisted prospecting tools
• Ability to work independently, create a productive daily structure, protect prospecting time, and follow through
• Clear and concise communication and credible customer engagement
• Ability to personalize outreach for different personas
• Self-motivation, persistence, accountability, discipline, curiosity, and competitive drive
• Coachability and ability to apply feedback to improve performance
• Preferred experience selling into regulated, industrial, energy, utility, construction, safety, or compliance environments
