Senior Operations Manager – Home Delivery

Job Description:

• Run weekly performance cadence across fulfillment vendors, including scorecard reviews, follow-ups, and corrective action plans
• Hold fulfillment partners accountable to SLAs
• Serve as primary relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of fulfillment vendors
• Own recurring meeting cadence and lead business reviews
• Advocate for Vetcove externally and maintain partner relationships
• Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to identify root causes and quantify operational impact
• Build data-backed cases for process and integration changes
• Translate operational failure modes into integration and fulfillment improvements with Product and Engineering
• Write requirements, drive prioritization, and follow through until fixes ship and metrics improve
• Take operational ownership of newly launched programs
• Build SOPs, own KPIs, and make operational decisions at scale
• Author and maintain SOPs, escalation paths, and process documentation

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in operations, program management, marketplace/ecommerce operations, or supply chain
• Experience with external partner performance accountability
• Documented record of relentless follow-through and cross-organizational escalation
• Proficiency in SQL (or demonstrated equivalent)
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills
• Ability to draw defensible conclusions from large, messy datasets
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience managing vendor or partner relationships end to end
• Excellent written communication
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
• Self-directed and highly organized in a fully remote environment
• Experience in ecommerce fulfillment, 3PL, pharmacy, or distribution operations is a plus
• Familiarity with BI/analytics tools such as Hex, Looker, or Tableau is a plus
• Background in animal health, healthcare, or another regulated fulfillment category is a plus
• Four-year degree requested in the application form
