Senior Operational Risk Management Manager – Financial Services

Job Description:

• Execute key components of the Company’s Operational Risk Management framework
• Provide independent risk oversight and credible challenge to the First Line of Defense
• Provide operational risk guidance on incidents, errors, business initiatives, processes, controls, and policies and procedures
• Lead operational risk assessments and analyze complex processes, risk information, and data
• Identify inherent and residual risks, evaluate control effectiveness, and identify control gaps
• Recommend risk mitigation and control enhancements
• Identify emerging issues and trends through analysis of key risk indicators, risk events, assessments, and horizon scans
• Drive issue resolution through root cause analysis and remediation development
• Work with business and support areas to develop corrective action plans and monitor significant actions
• Review business and process initiatives for operational risk and control requirements
• Support Operational Risk Management reporting and risk perspectives for Senior Management and risk committees

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a similar risk and control function
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong executive presence
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
• Ability to independently analyze complex processes, risks, and controls and exercise sound risk judgment
• Execution-oriented and results-driven
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT
