Senior iOS Engineer, AI First

Job Description:

• Design, build, and ship iOS features across seller and buyer marketplace experiences
• Lead technical direction on iOS, including SwiftUI growth alongside UIKit legacy, shared kits, and cross-cutting concerns
• Raise the bar on unit, UI, and snapshot testing and PR gates
• Partner on TestFlight and App Store release hygiene
• Use AI tools to accelerate delivery while mentoring Intermediate engineers
• Partner with Android to keep product behavior aligned across platforms
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers, designers, backend and platform engineers, QA, and the sibling Android mobile team
• Apply AI-assisted coding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Own systems end-to-end, including reliability and operational health

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional iOS development (or equivalent depth)
• Proficiency in Swift
• Experience building apps with SwiftUI
• Experience shipping apps via TestFlight / the App Store
• Demonstrated ownership of complex features and cross-cutting concerns
• AI-first mindset and daily use of AI development tools with critical evaluation of outputs
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience building and operating production iOS applications at scale
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, concurrency, networking, performance, and App Store quality
• Familiarity with CI/CD, including Mac runners, code review, and production observability
• SwiftUI MVVM and UIKit/Storyboards in mature codebases
• Modular iOS architecture, SPM, and shared internal kits/packages
• Protocol-oriented/environment-based dependency injection and coordinators or similar navigation patterns
• Feature flags, product analytics, crash reporting, and authentication such as OIDC/AppAuth
• Snapshot and UI testing
• Fastlane-based release automation
• Camera/scanning or realtime features such as SignalR
