Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

• Support customer missions through application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and research and development of new technologies
• Consolidate Education Finance survey data collection, processing, and dissemination into a new system/survey
• Design and develop new software projects
• Enhance and maintain existing software applications
• Work in a team environment using GitHub
• Use agile methodologies to develop software projects
• Use AWS cloud and containerization to enable cloud migrations
• Coordinate with product owners to understand requirements
• Participate in peer testing and demonstrate development
• Develop a new processing system and/or ingest engine to replace or migrate the existing education finance survey project
• Enhance web services and user interfaces for existing systems
• Support SAS-to-Python conversion for estimation and dissemination programs
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain a sample generation program from frame data
• Work with web services, Oracle migration to PostgreSQL, and cloud migration

Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Python (3+ years)
• Angular (3+ years)
• FastAPI (3+ years)
• Oracle (3+ years)
• PostgreSQL (3+ years)
• Java Web Services (3+ years)
• Ability to pass a complete background check, including criminal history, education verification, professional certification verification, previous employment verification, and credit history
• Fingerprinting required for Public Trust background investigation
• C# / WPF (3+ years) helpful but not mandatory
• Good communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior developers if needed
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or above desired
