Senior Divisional Strategy Consultant

Job Description:

• Support the development of divisional strategies
• Identify tools to assess and track strategic opportunities
• Provide end-to-end report development
• Interface between internal business and technical or analytical teams to achieve goals and desired outcomes
• Support a governance structure for evaluating strategic opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in the health care industry or consulting; OR Master's/Professional degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR 7 years of relevant experience in the health care industry
• Project management skills, including organization, prioritization, and problem solving
• Strong oral, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to accept direction and feedback
• Experience with business analytics and information synthesis
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment
• Presentation and group facilitation experience
• Experience interacting with staff and management across multiple departments and organizational levels
• PC proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with strong Excel skills
• Sponsorship will not be provided
• Preferred: Master's Degree
• Preferred: Health insurance or healthcare industry experience supporting ACA and Commercial markets
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of ACA and Commercial provider networks, key performance indicators, trends, and financial acumen
• Preferred: Experience developing or supporting ACA/commercial network strategy, network design, adequacy, and market initiatives
• Preferred: Experience solving complex conceptual and operational problems
• Preferred: Analytical up- and downstream thinking, information seeking, openness to learn, thoroughness, and attention to detail
