Senior Accountant – OAS

Job Description:

• Build relationships with outsourcing clients and own a book of business and clients
• Provide recurring daily/weekly transactional assistance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card imports, and consultant invoice management
• Provide month-end closing services, including reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and loan accounting
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Assist clients throughout the complete project cycle, including project entry, billing, and project-related reporting
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by researching and analyzing accounting data
• Identify root causes and propose solutions for client and firm issues
• Participate in onboarding new CAS clients
• Improve client and firm processes and profitability and communicate suggestions
• Act as a trusted advisor while meeting service standards
• Maintain a professional demeanor in client interactions
• Provide guidance to teammates and support team success
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to complete tasks
• Manage client projects with minimal oversight

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint Billing
• Knowledge of the entire accounting cycle from data entry to compilation of financial statements
• 3+ years of experience in full cycle Accounting at or above a staff accountant level
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Experience at an Architecture, Engineering or Construction firm
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in appropriate manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and practice areas within the organization
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to learn new things
• Experience working in a fully remote environment
