Act as liaison between key client contacts and insurance companies
Handle patient health information (PHI) while maintaining privacy and security of confidential and proprietary information
Analyze and evaluate workers’ compensation claim payments using EnableComp’s proprietary software, systems, and tools
Research, request, and acquire medical records, implant manufacturer invoices, and supporting documentation
Submit supporting documentation with hospital claims to insurance companies for prompt and correct reimbursement
Conduct timely telephone follow-up with payers to confirm receipt of claims and documentation and facilitate reimbursement
Prepare Workers’ Compensation initial bill packets or appeal letters and submit them with required documentation
Perform other duties as required

High School Diploma or GED required
1-2+ years’ experience in healthcare field working in billing or collections
1+ years’ client facing/customer services experience
1+ years’ experience with workers compensation billing and collections preferred
Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and subsequent data requirements
Strong computer proficiency and basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Regular and predictable attendance

Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with external clients, strong customer service skills, and business acumen
