Registered Nurse, Case Manager

Job Description:

• Work as a Nurse (RN) - Case Manager
• Provide case management using clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Apply utilization management experience and knowledge of medical necessity, level of care, and patient status
• Work 4-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts as needed to fill staffing gaps
• Work Monday through Friday during business hours; weekend hours may be included but are not required
• Collaborate within a team environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Required
• Master's degree in Nursing or healthcare related field Preferred
• Three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience. Required
• Recent experience as a hospital-based Nurse Case Manager Preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact upon hire. Required
• Strong clinical background
• Utilization management experience
• Well-developed assessment and critical thinking skills
• Understanding of medical necessity, level of care, and patient status
