Refrigeration Mechanic | Roy Hill Village, Pilbara | 8/6 Fifo

About the Role

ISS is hiring a trade-qualified Refrigeration Mechanic for its maintenance team at the Roy Hill Mine Village in the Pilbara. This is a permanent full-time FIFO role on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, flying from Perth. You will look after the refrigeration and air conditioning across the village's rooms, kitchens and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain split systems, room units and evaporative coolers


• Service cool rooms, freezer rooms, ice machines, water fountains and refrigerated containers


• Repair dining room refrigeration such as display fridges, cold wells and drink dispensers


• Help commission and install new equipment


• Take part in the on-call roster and support other maintenance trades

About You

• Trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic recognised in WA


• National Refrigerant Handling Licence and WA Restricted Electrical Licence


• C class driver's licence


• National Police Clearance issued in the last 12 months, or willing to get one


• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, functional assessment and drug and alcohol screen


• Remote village or FIFO experience is an advantage
