Job Description

Role

A customer-facing engineering role focused on building rapid, high-impact pilot and proof-of-value deployments of an AI platform that enables agentic AI, conversational agents, and context-aware automation. The team works closely with customers to translate business and technical problems into demonstrable AI use cases and to accelerate platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand problems and define pilot use cases.
• Design and build end-to-end pilot deployments on short timelines.
• Develop backend services, integrations, and workflows to support demo and pilot scenarios.
• Leverage GenAI / LLM capabilities (APIs, prompts, embeddings, agent patterns) to implement intelligent use cases.
• Integrate the platform with enterprise systems (ITSM, observability, CRM, ERP) via REST APIs or ESB.
• Build or modify basic frontend components to support demos and customer workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to feed pilot learnings back into the platform.
• Support customer conversations by explaining architecture, tradeoffs, and business value.

Requirements

• Hands-on backend development experience using Python.
• Experience with GenAI technologies and LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and agent-based patterns.
• Experience building integrations with enterprise systems (ITSM, CRM, ERP), databases, data pipelines, or messaging systems via REST APIs/ESB.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures (microservices, containers).
• Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code) and observability.
• Frontend familiarity with JavaScript and React to read/modify/basic UI build.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in ambiguous, customer-facing environments.
• Prior customer-facing engineering or support experience (solutions engineering, SRE, platform engineering, AMS/IMS).

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Certifications in Cloud, AI, UI, Design, or Enterprise Architecture are a plus.
