Product Manager

Job Description:

• Define and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and priorities aligned with strategic objectives
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into user stories with acceptance criteria
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Serve as the voice of the customer
• Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes
• Conduct usability testing and improve workflows inside Encompass and standalone tools
• Contribute to technical design discussions for Encompass integrations and plugins
• Review API specifications, write or read basic queries, and evaluate technical feasibility and tradeoffs
• Monitor product performance and user feedback for iterative improvements
• Partner with QA and development teams on timely, high-quality releases
• Communicate product updates and milestones to stakeholders
• Identify AI and automation opportunities and define success metrics and acceptance criteria
• Work with Security and Compliance on lender compliance, data privacy, and ISO/IEC 42001 AI governance requirements
• Maintain documentation, backlogs, and work items in Azure DevOps
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field; commensurate experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of product experience in the mortgage software industry, tech industry, or a related field
• Ability to analyze issues at a root level and identify preventative solutions
• Proven track record launching and managing software products from ideation to market adoption
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data and trends into product strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools; Azure DevOps preferred
• Ability to recognize and act on changing priorities
• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to use AI resources
• 3+ years of knowledge of the ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass platform/mortgage industry preferred
• Deep understanding of mortgage industry processes, compliance requirements, software solutions, and production workflows
• Experience defining requirements for AI or automation features a plus
• Hands-on experience building AI tools a plus
