Presales Systems Engineer – HPE Networking

Job Description:

• Develop technical proficiency across HPE Networking, Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation
• Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and design solutions
• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations
• Create architectures and proposals aligned with customer objectives
• Lead proof-of-concept activities
• Participate in advanced training programs and certifications
• Work with internal teams and partners to ensure successful solution positioning and adoption

Requirements:

• 7+ years in networking infrastructure
• Prior experience as a networking Systems Engineer or similar role
• Experience in networking design, installation, services, and support
• Background in government (state, local, federal), higher education, K12, enterprise, and service provider industries
• Familiarity with network design principles and protocols
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
• Candidates must reside in the greater Portland, Salem, or Eugene areas
• Ability to travel to customer sites within Oregon on a regular basis
