Job Description:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions
- Build and maintain telemetry ingestion pipelines using NetFlow, sFlow, and IPFIX
- Support and enhance DDoS detection and mitigation platforms
- Analyze network traffic patterns and provide insights for optimization and security
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies
- Enable observability, monitoring, and performance optimization across platforms
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams on platform and network initiatives
- Integrate and support traffic intelligence platforms such as Nokia Deepfield
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to architectural standards
- Develop and maintain documentation and best practices
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, DNS, and SNMP
- Professional experience in a service provider network
- Experience with NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX, and traffic telemetry systems
- Familiarity with DDoS detection and mitigation strategies
- Demonstrated platform ownership and operations of DDoS platforms such as Nokia Deepfield, Netscout Arbor, or similar platforms
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar
- Experience with RESTful APIs and automation
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and CloudFormation
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with big data platforms such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in platform engineering, network engineering, or architecture roles
- Must be authorized to work without employment-based visa sponsorship
