Outside Sales Representative

Job Description:

• Build and grow a territory by signing new dealerships and increasing applications from existing dealerships
• Build relationships and serve as the primary contact for dealer partners
• Work with dealers and the underwriting team to restructure deals so they fit company programs
• Generate new business through cold calls, referrals, directories, and in-person field visits
• Teach dealers about finance products, credit quality, stability, stipulations, and use of the company portal
• Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining a performing portfolio
• Attend meetings, sales events, and training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years in auto lending, auto finance, or automotive sales
• Subprime experience is a big plus
• Knowledge of auto lending underwriting
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Strong people skills and ability to build trust quickly
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems
• Confident with Microsoft Office and similar software
• Independent and/or franchise dealership experience, outside sales experience, or a track record in a highly driven, tough sales role is nice to have
• About 75% daily travel required
• Valid California driver's license
• Auto insurance

• Able to lift 15 lbs. (laptop and gear)
