Outside Account Manager

Job Description:

• Manage dealership portfolio to meet and exceed sales and productivity goals across all products
• Assist dealers in maximizing the financial opportunity of the program through customized action plans
• Drive service advisor effectiveness, training, and retail strategies through coaching and training
• Collaborate with Service Managers, Parts Managers, and other dealer stakeholders to determine product screens, inventory levels, and competitive pricing
• Develop and maintain a consistent monthly contact schedule with dealers
• Track all activity and maintain account information in Salesforce
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends
• Share best practices across the team and dealership network to support continuous improvement
• Serve as a strategic advisor for a Nissan/Infiniti dealership portfolio

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Prior professional experience selling with territory management skills
• Highly organized with strong follow-up skills
• Full understanding of all aspects of the sales process, including business planning, training, retail selling, and inventory
• Ability to negotiate and close deals
• Be located within assigned territory
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to sell at the top
• Meet Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy requirements
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Subject to random drug testing
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Frequent bending, crouching, and twisting
• Ability to drive and travel extensively to customer accounts, up to 80%
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
