About the Role

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for primary care adult healthcare in Gonzales, LA. The role involves providing patient care in a clinic setting with flexible scheduling, full benefits, and quick onboarding. The position offers opportunities for growth within a remote and in-person hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to adult patients in a clinic setting


• Conduct patient assessments, review lab and x-ray data, and interpret results


• Manage wound care, diet issues, discharge planning, and coordinate PPD/CXR results


• Review sick call requests and coordinate follow-up care


• Work 8-hour day shifts, 3-4 days remote per week, 1-2 days in-house


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to streamline patient care

Requirements

• Board certification as FNP, ANP, or ACNP


• Must have an ER background (preferred)


• Ability to work in a primary care setting with adult patients


• Experience with wound management, discharge planning, and interpreting lab/x-ray data


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation
