MD Claims Adjuster, Experienced

Job Description:

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents
• Determine coverage, liability, and damages
• Adjust and negotiate claims within limits of authority
• Determine subrogation or fraud potential and handling for complex cases
• Apply advanced understanding of company insurance policies, the industry, and organizational relationships
• Investigate complex auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages
• Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims when handled
• Recognize vehicle body parts and assess other potential property damage
• Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills
• Work collaboratively across teams
• No supervisory duties

Requirements:

• Experienced Material Damage Claims Adjuster
• Resides in the CST time zone
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism
• Expertise in de-escalation techniques and effective communication
• Solid foundation in coverage investigation and liability determination
• Ability to investigate basic to advanced automobile accidents and adjust claims within authority limits
• Ability to determine subrogation or fraud potential
• Advanced understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships
• Ability to handle complex auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages with discretion and independence
• Ability to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims, if handled
• Ability to recognize vehicle body parts and understand other potential property damage
• Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States
• Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment
• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team
