Manager, Network Infrastructure

Job Description:

• Lead a technical, 24x7 operations team maintaining large-scale network infrastructure
• Resolve complex engineering issues
• Manage trouble escalations
• Maintain core operational processes
• Diagnose hardware
• Facilitate repairs
• Manage assets
• Partner with datacenter staff
• Develop, document, refine, and maintain operations policies, processes, procedures, and escalations
• Design, develop, and maintain alerts and run books to improve fault detection and operational visibility
• Evaluate maintenance-team technical skills
• Determine training needs and facilitate team training sessions
• Support resolution of high-severity technical incidents
• Work globally with field technicians, internal teams, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in Internet infrastructure environments, including routing and access networks
• Experience managing technical teams, including a remote global team
• Experience building productive relationships with teams, providers, and partners
• Familiarity with data center portals and NOC environments
• Solid communication skills
