Line Chef | Sa Villages Ex Adelaide | Fifo

About the Role

ISS is looking for experienced chefs to work a fly-in fly-out roster from Adelaide Airport to its remote mining villages across South Australia. Both full-time and casual positions are open, and the roster is described as flexible rather than fixed. Reporting to the Head Chef and site catering leads, you will cook for hundreds of residents across breakfast, packed lunches and dinner.

Key Responsibilities

• Running breakfast, takeaway lunch and dinner service for village residents


• Producing fresh, varied meals in high volumes


• Keeping food safety and HACCP standards on every service


• Meeting the client's food quality and contract standards


• Supporting a strong safety culture in the kitchen

About You

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an Australian trade certificate, or equivalent international qualifications and portfolio


• High volume, bulk catering or banquet experience, or a la carte work in busy venues


• A food safety certificate and a solid grasp of HACCP


• Able to work a flexible FIFO roster from Adelaide


• A police clearance from the last 12 months or willing to get one


• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
