Light Vehicle Fitter | Goldfields Underground Mine | 7/7 Or 14/14 Fifo

About the Role

Macmahon is hiring a Light Vehicle Fitter for one of its underground mining projects in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. The role is FIFO from Perth, on either a 7/7 roster of alternating days and nights or a 14/14 roster of days and nights. You will keep the site light vehicle and bus fleet running alongside an experienced maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service light vehicles and buses


• Carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance


• Fault find on mechanical systems


• Record maintenance data every day


• Plan work with the production and planning teams


• Help keep equipment available, safe and reliable

About You

• More than two years experience as a tradesperson, ideally in underground mining


• Australian recognised trade certificate (Cert III in Light Vehicle)


• Breakdown and servicing experience on light vehicles


• Current First Aid certificate with CPR


• Current unrestricted C class manual driver licence
