Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT

Job Description:

• Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
• Deliver mental health treatment through technology-enabled care
• Provide care to patients across the lifespan
• Partner with commercial health plans and operate as a licensed Medicaid and Medicare provider
• Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
• Work Monday through Friday on a set schedule with no weekends
• Work collaboratively with clients to achieve treatment goals
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
• Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
• Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets

Requirements:

• Master's level degree and licensure
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
• Treatment planning skills
• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
• Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
• Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
• Current/independent clinical licensure or applicable therapist credential
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required
