Lead Senior Business System Analyst

Job Description:

• Lead the definition of solutions for new client implementations or larger projects on existing implementations
• Gather and define project requirements
• Understand client workflows and business goals
• Elicit and comprehend use cases
• Learn existing technical and data infrastructure
• Conduct gap analysis between applications and customer requirements
• Set expectations
• Collaborate with architects and developers
• Estimate project impact, resources, and hours
• Document recommended solutions
• Support client teams with presentations and reviews
• Draft requirements documents and functional specifications
• Update documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Author and manage tickets for internal communication
• Serve as internal subject matter expert on the solution
• Collaborate with development, QA, and production support teams
• Identify and address project risks
• Support QA and UAT
• Become a product expert
• Manage multiple competing priorities
• Recommend and institute best practices, methodologies, and tools
• Advise the client success team on technical capabilities, staffing, and infrastructure needs
• Travel to West Coast clients on a needs-basis

Requirements:

• Management experience of similar roles
• Experience contributing to project documentation including Business requirements documentation, specifications, SOWs, LOE’s, etc
• Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a software development environment
• Strong consultative and advisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to acknowledge marketing and strategic needs to assess and recommend technical requirements
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Subject matter expert thought leader supporting organizational processes and procedures and implementing a new product or major modifications from start to finish
• Web-services experience with RESTful APIs desired
• 5+ years of experience with software implementation from requirement through design, development, and user acceptance
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in technology-related field or relevant experience in implementing software
• 4+ years' experience using Snowflake
• Must be willing to travel
• Must reside in either PST or MST timezones
