Integration and Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Fullbay's business applications, including Rillet, Salesforce, Masset, Slack, and Snowflake
• Build and maintain data pipelines feeding the Snowflake data warehouse for organizational reporting and AI agent consumption
• Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes and design automations with affected business owners
• Build monitoring, logging, and alerting for integration jobs; resolve failures before they affect the business
• Manage API credentials and authentication; track vendor API changes and deprecations; coordinate with vendors on integration issues
• Account for legacy and current product platforms during the migration period
• Document integration architecture, data flows, credential ownership, and runbooks
• Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, IT, and Security stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize work
• Apply least-privilege principles to service accounts and API keys; support security reviews
• Adhere to confidentiality and compliance regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building integrations or automations between SaaS/business applications required
• Practical experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and modern authentication protocols (OAuth2, API keys) required
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language commonly used for integration work required
• Experience working with a cloud data warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in place of a degree
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
• Experience with Snowflake, including data modeling for a warehouse serving both reporting and application/agent consumption, strongly preferred
• Experience integrating financial/accounting systems preferred
• Experience with the Salesforce API and data model preferred
• Experience with AWS services relevant to integration work (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge) preferred
• Familiarity with iPaaS/automation platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Tray.io, n8n) preferred
• Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) or other emerging patterns for AI agent access to business data and systems preferred
• Experience at a small or scaling company preferred
• Strong written communication skills and technical documentation experience
• Security-conscious approach to credential, secret, and API key management
• Ability to sit at a desk, use a computer and telephone, lift/move up to 10 pounds, and meet the stated vision and communication requirements
